When you become a member of the Friends & Neighbors (FANS) of Putnam Memorial State Park, you become part of a group whose mission is to help maintain and promote the historical, educational and recreational values of the park.
Get Involved!
For many supporters, membership means making a yearly contribution (see below). For some, it means attending our monthly meetings and becoming involved in the FANS committee.
Interested? We could use your help. The only qualification is that you enjoy the park and appreciate its unique historical heritage – that’s more than enough to be a great committee member.
So how do you get started? The meetings are held monthly at our new location, the Redding Historical Society – check our calendar for details. We encourage you to attend! We do our best to make first time attendees feel welcome. E-mail us at friends@putnampark.org and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
