When you become a member of the Friends & Neighbors (FANs) of Putnam Park, you become part of a group whose mission is to help maintain and promote the historical, educational and recreational values of Putnam Memorial State Park.
Get Involved!
For many supporters, membership means making a yearly contribution (see below). For some, it means attending our monthly meetings and becoming involved on the FANs committee.
Interested? We could use your help. The only qualification is that you enjoy the park and appreciate its unique historical heritage – that’s more than enough to be a great committee member.
So how do you get started? The meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm in the Visitors Center. We encourage you to attend and we are very good at making first time attendees feel welcome. E-mail us at: [email protected] and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
