Learn about the Redding encampment of 1778-9 by joining park historian Ellery for a walking tour of the historic side’s one-mile loop. Then, experience the Revolutionary War for yourself at the reenactment battle/skirmish staged by local regiments.

Fun for all ages! Free and open to the public – donations welcome to support the park. On-site parking is limited, so please consider carpooling if possible.

Participants will have an opportunity to depart before the reenactment portion, which will feature black powder musket fire – safe, but noisy enough to be distressing to some children and most canine guests.
