Join us for our beloved biennial reenactment! Presented in conjunction with the Brigade of the American Revolution & the Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection. This all-ages event is open to the public, and has something for everyone to enjoy. In addition the the schedule posted below, visitors can browse the gift shop, speak to authors, and witness camp life demonstrations from our Brigade reenactors.
No tickets necessary. Our suggested donation is $20/car, but you may pay whatever you wish.
Schedule:
10:00: Camp opens to public
10:30: All Forces Drill (Practical maneuvers for tactical)
11:00: Cavalry Demonstration (Featuring John Koopman)
11:30: Artillery Demonstration (Brigade units will demonstrate 18th century marksmanship)
12:00: Nooning (Purchase lunch from Bethel ScoutTroop 71)
1:00: People of the Encampment (Speak to soldier and civilian reenactors about the realities of camp life in 1778-9)
1:30: Children’s Muster and Drill (Children can borrow mock wooden muskets to practice age-appropriate militia drills)
2:30: Artillery Demonstration (Brigade units will demonstrate 18th century marksmanship)
3:00: Tactical Weapons Demonstration (battle reenactment)
4:00: Camp closed to public
